Deer, deer!

Lee has just sent me photos of deer, taken from his Aylmerton garden!

The first is Muntjac (Reeve’s) – not much bigger than a family dog. The population of these increasingly common deer has spread from their first introduction into the UK at Woburn at the start of the 20th century.

and Roe Deer, the most common native deer species of our English countryside.
