Male Wheatear, in front of the Hall, Felbrigg

After spending most of the day in Norwich, missing most of the rain, I managed a quick wiz around the park before the Parish Meeting in the evening. There had been a few odd inland movements of migrants mentioned on the bird information services and I was interested to see if anything had turned up at Felbrigg.  Alas, there was very little except a small mixed flock of hirundine over the lake, including several Sand Martin, two Swallow and my first Felbrigg House Martin of 2016. Up above The Warren, two Wheatear. The Barn Owl was out, hunting over the water meadow, as I left for home.
