An iPhone record shot of the immature male King Eider, off of Sheringham

One of the things about going away is that I’m always slightly worried about what I might be missing at home! We got away with it pretty lightly when we spent two months in The States earlier in the year but I go away for a few days to Hungary and, blow me down, a King Eider turns up in the NENBC area! My first trip to Sheringham this morning produced nothing but, mercifully, it showed up late morning on the rising tide. Phew!!
